My experience is 20 years in the LI/NYC music business performing and teaching all styles of music. From me, you will learn the repertoire and professionalism necessary to earn money in pop, jazz, and wedding bands. |

SAXOPHONE I started on alto saxophone with Dr. Calandrino from the Vincent Abato School of Classical Sax Performance. Attended Manhattan School of Music where I studied from Paul Cohen. Learned everything about jazz from Sonny Dallas with influences from the Lennie Tristano School of Improvisation. I briefly studied from Lee Konitz, who's influence on my playing is deep. I am intimate with the hardest classical saxophone
pieces: I have transcribed and studied solos by Lester Young, Charlie Parker, Phil Woods, Sonny Dallas, Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh, Lennie Tristano, Chet Baker, Wayne Shorter, etc...

WINDSYNTH I began on EWI in 1986, and have been playing Synthophone since 1995. I'm very passionate about playing synthesizers and computers with wind controllers. I've had 3 EWIs, WX7, WX5, Lyricon, Casiosax, 2 Synthophones and many synths. Joe Zawinul, Lyle Mays, and Jan Hammer are huge influences on my synthesist's concept. I also build wind synth and electric sax rigs. Whether a large rack with many synths or a small portable rig, I custom assemble, wire, program and teach you the entire package. I can train you on synthesizers, computers, sequencers, audio/MIDI recording, and live/studio sound systems.
